Paper Puppets
Now that Micheal Jackson is dead, bankers and lawyers will fight over his estate. When the president wants to torture a man or a woman he call a lawyer and a banker pays him for his services. When I take the president to court because I know that torture is wrong, a lawyer represents both sides. The losers banker rights the check to the winners banker. When you get in to an accident or need to sue someone for something, a lawyer goes out and gets your money, and a banker stores it for you. If you want to start a business, drive a car, fish, hunt and even get married, you need to be licensed. The law which states you must have a license and the license it's self are written by a lawyer. In order for that license and law to become valid they must be bonded. Time to call a banker. Want to have a baby? Insurance and birth certificates... Bankers and Lawyers. Want a job? The law says you need a social security account. Bank's and Lawyers. I could go on and on but the redundancy should be apparent by now.
In this society you can't do anything with out a Banker and or a Lawyer.
Now lets take a look at the world we find around us. When I look up at the sky and take a deep breath I see and feel pollution. When I look at the things in my hands I see cheap toxic things made by people in the worst of working conditions. When I look at houses and cars I see things designed to an inefficient extreme crafted in want of material desire rather than want of true wealth. They are, more often than not, bigger than any one could ever need and as we are finding more than we can afford. When I look at the people around me I see pharmaceutical zombies force into a state of "happiness" because real happiness escapes them. When I look at business I do not see the free exchange of goods, services and ideas, I see a competition between lawyers to see which bank account will run out first. When I look at the school system I see babysitters and not teachers because since leaving I have learned more than I was ever taught possible. When I look at the food system I see a fragile system distributing empty nothingness crafted in the image of food. Worst of all is what I see when I look at a television. The most powerful device in the history of popular culture and it is being used in the worst possible way. Television at it's best is like the food, empty. At it's worst it is put to the task of convincing you that the above statements are false. TV works very hard to tell you that the economy is recovering, the food is healthy and delicious, you are happy and healthy, well educated and safe. I realize what a damming assessment I have made here but I know this to be true.
Thus, knowing one needs a banker and or a lawyer to do anything, and knowing what a sad state the world is in, is there any one to blame other than bankers and lawyers?
So when a banker tells me I need a lawyer, or a lawyer tells me I need a banker, am I wrong to question their motives? Am I wrong to think there must be a better way?
