The American Way of Life

The American Way of life is a product. It's a possible choice for how one could live their life. But in America the fact that it is a choice is obscured. There are lots of other choices really, You could live in an efficient well designed home or you could live in a typical American track home. You could stay home and cook your self a tasty meal with food you grew or you could eat fast food. You could use hard currency or you could use the Dollar/ Federal Reserve Note. You could drive fuel efficient vehicle or you could drive the internal combustion engine you are driving now. All of it's a choice, but the typical American life, the status quo, is the chosen path promoted by the ruling elite, We will call them Big Business.

Big Business owns the vast vast majority of everything you interact with in any given day most importantly the media. The American way of life is designed very high up in the chain of command, by a select few people in concert with the other media outlets. Each outlet appears different because of different programming but what they have in common is what they aren't telling you. And What they aren't telling you is how different this American way of life could be, and that this American life has an expiration date.

This is because the American way of life that we have now is extremely profitable. This democracy of perpetual war is extremely profitable. This Dig it up then Throw it all a way life of disposable diapers, toxic paint, paper plates, pine-box houses, insurance and boom-bust cycles is extremely profitable... for the extremely rich.

They aren't telling you how fuel efficient your Car Could Be. They They aren't telling you how warm your house could stay. They aren't telling you how rich and varied your radio and Television should be. They aren't telling you how good the schools can and should be. They aren't telling you how effective and beneficial your government was intended to be. They aren't telling you how good people really ARE. They aren't telling you all this and a whole lot more because keeping you in the dark is extremely profitable. Feeding you fast food and diet soda, and polluting the environment is profitable because sick people spend money at the doctors office and some one out there is profiting off of that. Some one out there is taking a little piece.

If there wasn't' some one taking a little off the top of the prison industry, they're wouldn't be lobbyists pushing for more laws to put more people behind bars. If there wasn't some one profiting from oil, there wouldn't be anyone paying to keep oil in your gas tank, in your tires, your plastic, your roads and in your food. If there wasn't some one taking a little profit from every little thing we dig out of the ground, and there wasn't some one taking a little profit from the business of putting it back in the ground, we would stop throwing everything away and we would learn to reuse it. You see the green revolution can't be profitable because then it wouldn't be green. You must understand Nature does not profit. Profit is un-natural. Nature will provide you with everything (yes everything) you ever needed, thus thinking that you need more, or that you need to profit is proof that your ignoring nature completely. And Big Business certainly isn't telling you that.
