masonry of the mind
Perception is a matter of reception
more to the fact
self deception and things unseen
but they were surely there
I'm convinced it was conscious
the choice of non witness
They say we are containers of the great all
carefully chosen filters slowly built
forming something of a great wall
we call it "me"; what's embodied there
surely it's simply self restrain
for only a precious few choose to scale
scared of ones own shadow
perched upon ones own rampart
peering into the dark
stranger still are the carpenters
constructing great gates and doors
set free upon the extended self
learning a lesson of fear no more
a being uncommon and most unique
is seen standing straight and true
passing person are stupefied silly
when this man not only never notices
the great barricade but
simply walks right through
more to the fact
self deception and things unseen
but they were surely there
I'm convinced it was conscious
the choice of non witness
They say we are containers of the great all
carefully chosen filters slowly built
forming something of a great wall
