Me walking into an auto parts place... "I drive a 97 chevy s-10 extended cab, with the v-6. I need an alternator."  Listing the answers to the questions I know he'll ask in the order the computer tells him to ask. He says... "What year did you say?"  I repeat the year but in my head I'm wondering if it would be faster to ask for someone who knows how to do their job and is good at it, or just wait for this guy to figure it out, and I want him to tell him I'm thinking it.
